Bath Tub Resurfacing

Today we were called in to resurface this bath tub, We arrived to this bath to realize it has had numerous attempts by other company’s, We then completely stripped back this bath tub taking multiple layers off back to the original surface, Before we commence any resurfacing its important to make sure our preparation is 100% by masking out our surroundings,cleaning the surface and applying our etch, any chips are the filled and sanded down smooth, before we apply our primer we gave the bath a final wipe out then applied our bonding agent for maximum adhesion, two coats of primer were then applied,set to dry,lightly sanded and then wipe out any dust, now its time to apply our topcoat, three coats were then applied with dry time between coats generally two coats are sufficient enough but we were very fussy with this bath due to the history of it, its important to let the bath flash off before de-masking to avoid anything landing in the bath tub. End result the vendor, tenants and estate agents we all satisfied with the resurfacing, We then gave them even better news when we told them it is also guaranteed for 5 years leaving smiles all around.
